Abstract

The invention discloses an attractant composition for spodoptera frugiperda and application of the attractant composition. The spodoptera frugiperda sex pheromone composition comprises a spodoptera frugiperda sex pheromone component and a synergist in a mass ratio of 5: 2. Wherein the sex pheromone is prepared from the following components: cis-9-tetradecene-1-alcohol acetate, cis-7-dodecene-1-alcohol acetate and cis-11-hexadecene-1-alcohol acetate, and the synergist is one or more of nonanal, 2-heptanone and cis-9-tetradecene-1-alcohol. The attractant composition can attract female and male spodoptera exigua at the same time, effectively reduce the cardinal number of spodoptera exigua, and rapidly reduce the propagation rate, thereby achieving the purpose of efficiently preventing and treating spodoptera exigua. The attractant composition is high in specificity, the mixed insect rate is lower than 5%, meanwhile, the attractant composition can be applied to insect situation forecasting and mass trapping and killing, and the attractant composition has important significance on comprehensive prevention and control of the grassland spodoptera exigua.
