Abstract

The invention provides a group primate animal exercise amount estimation method based on target detection. The method comprises the following steps: step 1, designing a multi-view camera shooting device capable of shooting daily behavior states of primate animals in an iron cage without dead angles; 2, video data of daily behaviors of primates in the cage are collected through a shooting device, and the collected video data are preprocessed and marked; step 3, training a rhesus monkey head detector based on a target detection model semi-supervised learning method; and 4, calculating the exercise amount of the rhesus monkey in the actual scene through the trained model. The invention designs a multi-view camera shooting device which is suitable for dead-corner-free shooting of daily behaviors of primates; by preparing a primate target detection data set, a deep learning algorithm can be used for target detection; and a target detection-based method for calculating the amount of motion of the rhesus monkeys in the cage is provided.
