Abstract

The invention relates to a drive unit of a power train test bench for testing a power train of an electric motor vehicle, comprising an electric motor having a housing, a carrying device for carrying the electric motor, and a junction box, wherein the housing comprises a mechanical front yoke, which is integrally connected to a front bearing cover of the electric motor, and a mechanical rear yoke, which is integrally connected to a rear bearing cover of the electric motor, and wherein the front yoke and the rear yoke extend from the electric motor in two transverse directions, respectively, above the electric motor, wherein the carrying device carries the electric motor through the front yoke and the rear yoke so as to form a free space below and laterally of the electric motor, and wherein the junction box is placed on a top side of the front yoke and a top side of the rear yoke. The drive unit according to the invention is characterized in that the terminal box comprises additional reinforcing bars. The invention also relates to a corresponding power train test bench.
