According to one embodiment of the present invention, there is provided an optical glass manufacturing method for manufacturing an optical glass that transmits light in an infrared band to a predetermined reference value or more, the optical glass manufacturing method being characterized by comprising: a loading process in which Ge, Ga, and Se are mixed at predetermined contents and loaded into a predetermined container; a melting process of melting the set container in a first set environment; and a slow cooling process of slowly cooling the container after the melting process in a second set environment.
