Embodiment Construction

[0038] figure 1 A projection module 10 for a motor vehicle headlamp is shown, which comprises a first light source 110 and a second light source 120 and a radiation barrier 200 which is designed to be installed in the projection module 10 according to regulations. It is arranged horizontally when used in a motor vehicle headlamp and has an optically relevant baffle edge 210 for creating an asymmetric light-dark boundary.

[0039] The first light source 110 is arranged here at the upper side of the radiation barrier 200 and cooperates with the optically relevant barrier edge 210 of the radiation barrier 200 to generate a low beam distribution, wherein the second light source 120 is arranged at the radiation barrier 200 . at the underside of the baffle 200 and cooperate to create the high beam distribution.

[0040] The projection module 10 further comprises a projection lens 300 having an optical axis A and a focal plane F for projecting the light distribution in the main radi...

Abstract

The invention relates to a projection module (10) for a motor vehicle headlamp, comprising: a first light source (110) and a second light source (120); a radiation diaphragm (200) arranged horizontally and comprising an optically associated diaphragm edge (210) for creating an asymmetric light and shade boundary, in which a first light source (110) is arranged at an upper side of the radiation diaphragm (20) and cooperates in conjunction with the diaphragm edge (210) for creating a low beam distribution, and in which a second light source (110) is arranged at a lower side of the radiation diaphragm (20) and cooperates in conjunction with the diaphragm edge (210) for creating a low beam distribution. A second light source (120) arranged at an underside of the radiant baffle (200) and cooperating for generating a high beam distribution; the projection module (10) comprises an additional diaphragm (400), which is arranged vertically below the radiation diaphragm (200) and has a vertically extending first optically associated diaphragm edge (410), which is arranged to partially shield light from the second light source (120) so that a partial high beam distribution can be produced, and wherein the additional diaphragm (400) has a fixed section (430), which is arranged vertically below the radiation diaphragm (200) and has a first optically associated diaphragm edge (430) which extends vertically and which is arranged to partially shield light from the second light source (120) so that a partial high beam distribution can be produced. The first diaphragm edge (410) has an end (411) in a vertical extension in the direction of the radiation diaphragm (200), which end (411) is at a distance from the radiation diaphragm (200), and wherein the additional diaphragm (400) has a second optically relevant diaphragm edge (420), which extends from the end (411) of the first diaphragm edge (410) to a fastening section (430), the second diaphragm edge (420) defines a gap in the projection onto the radiation diaphragm (200), which gap is designed in conjunction with the second light source (120) to produce a section (500) in a partial high beam distribution.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a projection module for a motor vehicle headlight, comprising the following: [0002] - a first light source and a second light source, [0003] - a radiating baffle, which is arranged to be arranged horizontally when the projection module is used according to the regulations in an installed motor vehicle headlamp, and which comprises an optically relevant baffle edge for producing an asymmetric light-dark boundary, wherein the first light source is arranged at the upper side of the radiation baffle and cooperates with the optically relevant baffle edges of the radiation baffle for generating a low beam distribution, and wherein the second light source is arranged at the lower side of the radiation baffle and cooperates for produces a high beam distribution, [0004] - at least one projection lens with an optical axis and a focal plane for projecting the light distribution in front of the projection module in the main radiation...
