Abstract

The present disclosure provides a "powertrain mounted rolling limiter with a compressed rubber element". A powertrain torque rolling limiter includes a first bracket having an elongate body defining a first bracket opening at a distal end and defining a central axis; the second bracket is coaxial and adjacent to the first bracket; the third support is coaxial with and adjacent to the second support and opposite to the first support, and the third support defines a third support opening capable of being matched with the first support opening. The second bracket defines a second bracket opening that receives the elongated body such that the second bracket is positioned about the elongated body. The powertrain torque rolling limiter also includes a first rubber element positioned between the first bracket and the second bracket, and a second rubber element positioned between the second bracket and the third bracket, where the brackets are configured to maintain the respective rubber elements in a compressed state.
