Abstract

The present invention provides an optical element for optical recording medium readers and its manufacturing method. The present invention relates to a photoelement which is provided with a protective layer consisting of cured material and has a transparent element at a location intended for light to pass through. The object of the present invention is to propose an improved photoelement which can be produced in particular at low cost. This is achieved according to the invention by the cured material being the transparent element.
