Abstract

Here disclosed is an automatic camera lens module retracting / extending apparatus for mobile communication terminals, which can convert a rotary motion of the drive motor into a linear motion so as to make the camera lens module retract into, or extend from the mobile communication terminals. The module includes a lens shell, wherein a scheduled length is extended in its longitudinal direction; as well as lens cam components, which accommodate the lens shell, wherein the lens cam components convert a rotary motion of the drive motor into a linear motion so as to make the lens shell retract into the lens cam components, or extend from the lens cam components in the longitudinal direction of the lens shell. When the lens shell extends from the camera lens components, the lens shell automatically rotates around the rotation axis of the lens shell through the lens cam components.
