Abstract

A vehicle door structure for preventing a hole cover covering a hole opened in the inner panel of the vehicle door from becoming an impact force transmission member and impairing the impact absorption performance. In the vehicle door structure, the hole cover (20) for accommodating the convex portion (11a) of the upper impact absorbing member (11) is composed of upper and lower cover members (22, 23) separated up and down. The upper cover member (22) is made of a film-shaped plastic molded product. The lower side cover member (23) is made of a thick plastic molded product as in the past. The lower side cover member (23) overlaps the installation position of the door lock mechanism part (10a), and the unlocking cable (32a) and the automatic locking wire (32b) as the cable routing part pass through the through hole of the lower side cover member (23) (31a) extends to the door lock mechanism part (10a).
