Problems solved by technology

The second step is to establish a mapping from the target scene surface to the intermediate surface, which is relatively complicated
Since it does not require the 3D model of the object, it greatly saves storage space and calculation, but it also brings the problem of being difficult to accurately calculate the texture coordinates

Embodiment Construction

[0049] The principle of the mesh texture mapping method for the image-based clothing virtual display system is that a texture mesh is interactively defined by the user, and the mesh reflects the shape information of the clothing surface. During texture mapping, for any pixel in the target area on the image, use the texture grid to calculate its texture coordinates, and then select the corresponding pixels from the texture map to map according to the texture coordinates. The method does not need to use the three-dimensional model of the clothing product, and the operation of interactively defining the texture grid is simple and easy to use. Therefore, the method is a simple and fast texture mapping method, which is very suitable for the requirements of the virtual display system.

Abstract

The disclosed method comprises: 1) defining the whole texture direction as the horizontal and vertical frame line in target area by some user texture frame; 2) pre-treating the frame line, constructing the horizontal and vertical texture middle mesh, and uniting all the middle meshes to generate mesh texture; 3) taking interactive regulation to reflect the texture variation led by rumple and torsion on clothes surface; 4) calculating the texture coordinate of every pixel in target area for texture mapping. This invention avoids modeling, needs small calculation and storage quantity, and has well use value.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a grid texture mapping method in an image-based clothing virtual display system. Background technique [0002] There are rich texture details on the surface of clothing, and these details have an important impact on the effect of virtual display. In the mid-1970s, Catmull first used texture mapping techniques to generate texture detail on the surface of a scene. Since then, texture mapping technology has been widely studied and applied. According to the different texture domains, textures can be divided into two-dimensional textures and three-dimensional textures. Based on the representation of texture, texture can be divided into three categories: color texture, geometric texture and procedural texture. Color texture refers to various patterns, patterns and characters on the surface of an object; geometric texture refers to the surface texture based on the microscopic geometric shape of the scene surface, such as the uneven...
