Abstract

The invention supplies a system and method for device to take testing based on MIB. The system includes tested device and network managing host. The method includes the following steps: running TCL script to gain MIB data for testing, selecting MIB operation for testing, sending corresponding SNMP request file to tested device; judging process according to the set MIB operation, taking analysis to the operation result carried in SNMP response file; comparing to anticipate operation result to gain the testing result of tested device. The invention could automatically take test based on MIB.
