Abstract

The present invention provides a multi-gun furnace for direct melting of reduced puddling, including a furnace body, a furnace chamber and a spray gun outside the furnace body; the top of said furnace body provided with an opening through which part or all of the spray gun passes; one or more oxygen spray guns provided around said spray gun on the opening; wherein, a movable equipment provided onthe top of the spray gun. The present invention also provides a method for direct melting of reduced puddling. The spray area of the multi-gun is large and the spray strength is reduced. The spray guns in the present invention are devided into mechanical movement spray guns and free movement spray guns. Continuous spray movement is a distinguishable characteristics in the process which is different from static spray guns.
