Benefits of technology

[0024]In the air conditioning apparatus and the method of controlling the air conditioning apparatus pertaining to the present invention, the timing of the issuance of the stop signal for stopping the compressor is delayed the predetermined amount of time from the timing of the issuance of the stop signal for stopping the refrigerant heating unit, and the compressor residually operates. Because of this, a circumstance where the refrigerant heating unit continues operating even after the compressor stops is avoided, and the heating of an empty part by the refrigerant heating unit is suppressed.

Problems solved by technology

This is because when the compressor is stopped and the refrigerant heating unit is acting under a circumstance where the refrigerant does not, or virtually does not, circulate inside the refrigerant circuit, this can lead to a deterioration of parts such as pipes caused by the heating of an empty part.

Embodiment Construction

[0033]An air conditioning apparatus 1 and a method of controlling the air conditioning apparatus 1 pertaining to an embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.

(Overall Configuration)

[0034]FIG. 1 is a configuration diagram of the air conditioning apparatus 1. As shown in FIG. 1, in the air conditioning apparatus 1, an outdoor unit 2 serving as a heat source-side unit and an indoor unit 4 serving as a utilization-side unit are interconnected by refrigerant pipes, whereby a refrigerant circuit 10 that performs a vapor-compression refrigeration cycle is formed.

[0035]The outdoor unit 2 houses a compressor 21, a four-way switching valve 22, an outdoor heat exchanger 23, an expansion valve 24, an accumulator 25, outdoor fans 26, a hot gas bypass valve 27, a capillary tube 28, and an electromagnetic induction heating unit 6. The indoor unit 4 houses an indoor heat exchanger 41 and an indoor fan 42.

[0036]The refrigerant circuit 10 has a dischar...

Abstract

An air conditioning apparatus includes a refrigerant circuit, a refrigerant heating unit and a stop signal controller. The refrigerant circuit includes a compressor, an indoor heat exchanger, a pressure reducing mechanism, and an outdoor heat exchanger. The refrigerant heating unit heats refrigerant flowing through the refrigerant circuit. The stop signal controller, in a case of causing the compressor to stop at a time when the compressor and the refrigerant heating unit are both operating, executes first stop control in which a stop signal is issued in order to stop the refrigerant heating unit, and then a stop signal is issued in order to stop the compressor after elapse of a first amount of time. A method of controlling an air conditioning apparatus having the refrigerant circuit and the refrigerant heating unit includes executing the first stop control.

Description

TECHNICAL FIELD[0001]The present invention relates to an air conditioning apparatus and a method of controlling the air conditioning apparatus.BACKGROUND ART[0002]Among air conditioning apparatus, there are air conditioning apparatus having a refrigerant heating unit that heats refrigerant flowing through a refrigerant circuit (e.g., see JP-A No. 2007-255736, which is patent citation 1).[0003]Usually, in air conditioning apparatus having a refrigerant heating unit, a stop signal for stopping the refrigerant heating unit is also issued at the same time as the issuance of a stop signal for stopping the compressor. This is because when the compressor is stopped and the refrigerant heating unit is acting under a circumstance where the refrigerant does not, or virtually does not, circulate inside the refrigerant circuit, this can lead to a deterioration of parts such as pipes caused by the heating of an empty part.SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONTechnical Problem[0004]However, even if the stop s...
