The inner layer grip 10 is made of flexible plastic or rubber, and thermoset rubber is an ideal material. An accommodating space 12 is defined in the inner layer grip 10 for receiving an end of a golf club (not shown). In a preferred form, at least one marking area 11 is disposed on an outer surface of the inner layer grip 10 and has a single color or various colors. The marking area 11 can be in the form of patterns, graphics, lines, letters, or characters for the purposes of specious design and marking. The marking area 11 can be formed when the inner layer grip 10 is manufactured, or can be formed by processing after the inner layer grip 10 is manufactured.
