An electrical plug / socket adaptor for establishing an electrical connection between a electrical plug and an electrical socket, said adaptor comprising a housing with at least one electrical plug receiving zone to receive an electrical plug of a kind selected from at least one of a Euro pin electrical plug, British pin electrical plug, North America pin electrical plug, and Australia pin electrical plug, the adaptor configurable to itself be capable of being operatively plugged into an electrical socket of a kind selected from at least two of a Euro pin electrical socket, British pin electrical socket, North America pin electrical socket, and Australia pin electrical socket.

This disclosure pertains to methods and apparatus for interfacing an onsite power generation system with an existing main electric panel. The interfacing is performed by: attaching an additional jaw connector to a neutral bridge within an existing meter socket; wiring AC supply lines from the onsite power generation system to load side jaws of a five blade meter socket adapter; and wiring a neutral line from the onsite power generation system to an additional terminal of the meter socket adapter. The lines from the onsite power generation system are routed through an opening formed in the meter socket adapter. The meter socket adapter is then inserted into the meter socket so that five jaws in the socket receive all five blades of the meter socket adapter. The blades of the meter are then plugged into the jaws on the opposite end of the meter socket adapter.

A control circuit for operating a lamp or other electrically operated device using a conventional wall socket outlet that is selectively energized under the control of a conventional wall mounted switch. To permit the lamp to be independently controlled using either the wall switch or the lamp switch, a wall adapter unit is employed that plugs into the wall outlet and into which the lamp's power cord is plugged. A method for custom fitting prosthetic devices, comprising the steps of: (a) providing a unitary prosthetic coupling device adapted to couple a prosthetic pylon to a second prosthetic limb component, the coupling device having a cylindrical sheath extending from a cavity adapted to receive at least a portion of the second prosthetic limb component therein, the cylindrical sheath adapted to interface with a prosthetic pylon, the cylindrical sheath accommodating various depths of pylon insertion to provide height adjustability with the second prosthetic limb component, the coupling device further being designed for day-to-day use; and (b) mounting the second prosthetic limb component to the prosthetic coupling device and mounting the prosthetic pylon to an interior surface of the cylindrical sheath so as to provide a secure coupling between the prosthetic pylon and the second prosthetic limb component enabling day-to-day use.
