A sole component and a method of manufacturing the sole component are disclosed. In general, the sole component includes a fluid-filled bladder and a reinforcing structure extending around the bladder. The reinforcing structure is bonded to the exterior of the bladder, and may be recessed into the bladder. In some embodiments, the reinforcing structure extends along the side surfaces of the bladder and between upper and lower surfaces of bladder. In manufacturing the sole component, the reinforcing structure may be located within a mold, and the polymer material forming the bladder may be bonded to the reinforcing structure during the molding process.

A footwear construction including an articulated welt. The footwear includes an upper and an outsole secured together with a welt in the forward portion of the footwear. The welt terminates short of the heel region of the footwear. In one embodiment, the outsole in the heel region is secured to a heel cradle which is further secured the upper. The overshoes or slippers have traction material imbedded in the soles thereof such as disperse gravel, pieces of walnut shell, etc., and may, in addition, have chains similarly imbedded for additional traction. The full overshoes have a slit leading to a shoe entry opening which has a fastener for fastening the sides of the slit together to secure the overshoes on street shoes. An overshoe that is removably disposable on a user's shoe and provides a tread surface that enhances the user's footing on slippery surfaces. Winter golf shoe spike 10 preferably has a main cleat body 11 molded from a durable plastic type material in single unitary fashion. The overshoe for running is a protective and padded overshoe adapted to be worn over a running shoe or the like in order to provide additional shock absorption and padding for running on hard surfaces, such as pavement, cement and the like. The overshoe is in the form of a unitary body formed from a resilient material. The unitary body includes a sole having opposed upper and lower surfaces, and a peripheral wall extending from the periphery of the upper surface of the sole. The peripheral wall and the sole define an open interior region adapted for receiving the shoe. A welted footwear construction with a direct-attach outsole and an internal tray containing a low density cushioning material. The welt may be secured to the upper and insole by one line of stitching and to the tray by a second line of stitching. The tray may include separate heel and forefoot cavities, each containing a low density cushioning material. The preparation method of the strengthening adhesive has the advantages that: the prescription of the strengthening adhesive materials are improved, the crosslinking stress of the strengthening adhesive is enhanced, thus, the crosslinking stress is ensured to be larger than the rebound force of the outsole plus the expansive force produced by the foaming sponge, and the crosslinking calibration speed is increased; meanwhile, the rubber foxing delamination problem is totally avoided.
