The invention discloses an MPC8640D based information processing board system including an FPGA, four CPUs are hung outside the FPGA, the model of the CPUs is MPC8640D, each CPU is connected with a VPX connector via an SRTO bus, a PCIE bus, and a GbE bus for the in-board and out-board data interaction, a FLASH of 256MB is externally connected with the FPGA, and the FPGA is connected with two photoelectric conversion modules, a debugging serial port, and a resetting button on the front panel. According to the invention, one FPGA is externally connected with four MPC8640D for information processing, the MC8640 supports the 1GHz processing capability, and by means of +0.95V core voltage, the power consumption is low and the reliability is high under the work condition of same environment temperature and same main frequency. The information reading capability is further enhanced by the FLASH of 256MB externally connected with the FPGA, and the SRTO bus, the PCIE bus, and the GbE bus that are connected with the VPX connector makes the inside and outside data high in interaction speed, and thereby the high information processing capability is further guaranteed.
