Abstract

The invention relates to a detecting device of synchronous signals applicable to receive segment synchronous signals, field synchronous signals and digital broadcasting signals of data; and detect the segment synchronous signal and the field synchronous signal from the signals. The invention comprises: a correlation calculator which calculates the correlation between the received digital broadcasting signal and the predetermined reference signal to detect the position of the field synchronous signal contained in the digital broadcasting signal; and a counter which counts the predetermined times at the detecting position of the field synchronous signal to estimate the count carry value as the segment synchronous signal producing point and output the segment synchronous detecting signal. Because the device detects the field synchronous signal and then uses the coefficient multiplier to estimate the segment synchronous signal, the hardware implementation can be simplified. Because the detection comprises the segment synchronous signals of a large number of code elements, and the counter is used to estimate the segment synchronous signals of a small amount of code elements, the synchronous signal can be detected conveniently. In addition, even though under the condition of mobile communication, the field and the segment synchronous signals can be detected easily.
