Abstract

A mobile-node, roaming method: the mobile node establishes communication connections with relay server and a communication node; the relay server also establishes a communication connection with the communication node. The roaming method includes: detecting current address of the mobile node; judging if the mobile node is in roaming state by its current address; responding an address transition request and sending it to the relay server, if the mobile node is in roaming state; receiving the request and establishing a relationship between fore-and-after addresses; processing information according to the relationship. The mobile node roaming method provided by the present invention can achieve the system-crossing roaming between IPv4 and IPv6 networks.
