The system includes following parts and functions: main controller (MC) in use for controlling and configuring information; network interface module (NIM) and soft exchange establish load-bearing channel for controlled user to send and receive faxes as well as filtering and distributing the received data; fax protocol conversion module (FPCM) receives IP code flow transmitted by NIM, as well as converts IP code flow to TDM code flow and sends the TDM code flow to TDM exchange module; through Ethernet port, FPCM receives setting and controlling commands from MC; receiving TDM code flow sent by FPCM, TDM exchange module exchanges TDM time slot with fax demodulation module; through HDLC, communication is carried out between MC and TDM exchange module as well as unitive managements and calls are controlled by MC; through HDLC to communicate with MC, fax process module is in use for demodulating, saving or playing back fax data.
