Problems solved by technology

[0051] It can be seen that as users move from the PLMN-B area to the PLMN-A area, users from MSCx and MSCy will be routed to MSC1, and users from MSCz will be routed to MSC2. It is easy to see that this undoubtedly leads to The load among MSC1, MSC2, and MSC3 is very unbalanced

Embodiment Construction

[0074] The core idea of the present invention is: when the RAN node receives the initial direct transmission message, the routing parameter type carried in the initial direct transmission message is the direct routing type, and there is a CN node in the unloading state in the pool area to which it belongs, the Select the service CN node from the CN nodes in the state.

[0075] In order to make the object, technical solution and advantages of the present invention clearer, the present invention will be further described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings and preferred embodiments.

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for implementing load redistribution. The method comprises: a RAN node receives an initial direct transfer message, wherein the routing parameter type carried by the initial direct transfer message is of direct routing type; and the RAN node selects a servicing CN node from CN nodes in non-unloaded state when CN nodes in unloaded state exist in the belonging domain. In the inventive method, when the routing parameter type carried by the initial direct transfer message is of direct routing type, the RAN excludes the CN nodes in unloaded state and selects the servicing CN node from the CN nodes in non-unloaded state only. Therefore, on one hand, the invention can increase the efficiency of load redistribution and save network resources, on the other hand, the invention can reasonably realize the load redistribution and the selected servicing CN node is valid. Additionally, the servicing CN node is selected based on the load balance principle with regard of the five situations when the routing parameter type is of direct routing type, thereby ensuring the load balance between the CN nodes.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to load redistribution technology, in particular to a method for realizing load redistribution under Iu-Flex networking. Background technique [0002] The 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) Release 5 (REL5) supports Iu-Flex feature, radio access network (RAN) nodes such as radio network controller (RNC) or base station controller (BSC), can connect multiple core networks (CN) nodes such as the Mobile Switching Center (MSC) in the Circuit Switching (CS) domain and the Serving GPRS Support Point (SGSN) in the Packet Switching (PS) domain, where the MSC is also called the MSC Server (MSC Server), and the following uses MSC. For Iu-Flex (Routing functionality for intra domain connection of RAN nodes to multiple CN nodes), it means "the routing function applied to the connection between a RAN node and multiple CN nodes within the same CN domain". Personnel usually use Iu-Flex directly. Areas covered by several RANs form a poo...
