Abstract

The invention relates to a plant cultivating environment comprising: an oxygen sensing arrangement for sensing an oxygen level in said environment. According to the invention, said oxygen sensing arrangement comprises a base plate for underlying a substrate; and a plurality of oxygen sensors each positioned on said base plate at a predetermined position for sensing a local oxygen level in said substrate.
