Abstract

The invention discloses a network element automatic finding and configuration method, which is applicable to a mobile communication system comprising a network element and a management system of the network element. The method comprises the following steps: 1, after being power on, the network element initiatively establishes communication connection with the network element management system and sends a notification message to the network element management system; 2, the network element management system receives the notification message and acquires network element configuration data from the network element according to the notification message; 3, the network element management system converts the network element configuration data into internal configuration data according to a configuration model of the network element management system; 4, the network element management system initializes an application layer handshaking process to the network element and establishes an application layer communication link according to network element information in the internal configuration data.
