An easy information search method, system and a character input system, wherein said information search method includes the following steps: determining a keyword that the user needs to search; based on the search keyword, character input system creating a search command and sending the command to search engine; search engine returning search results back to the character input system; and the search results being displayed. The present invention can greatly improve searching efficiency, reduce user's operation and avoid noneffective data exchanging and processing. For simple search results, an additional window or a candidate-word window of the character input system may be directly called to display the search results and the Internet explorer is prevented from being called, so as to economize the memory resource and the computing resource.
