Abstract

The invention discloses a tension mechanism unit of printing medium for a printer, which comprises a pair of gear rack guiding devices and a tensile bar. Each gear rack guiding device is composed of a bracket, gear racks which are arranged on the bracket, and a clearance adjustment backup plate. The clearance adjustment backup plate and the gear racks are crosswise arranged along the axis of the tensile bar; both ends of the tensile bar are provided with gear wheels and guide bearings while the tensile bar is arranged in the gear rack guiding device and the gear wheel is engaged with the gear rack. A guiding working plane of the clearance adjustment backup plate is pressed against the guide bearing. After being set, the clearance adjustment backup plate can be adjusted when in equipment assembly, and then the distance between the gear racks and the clearance adjustment backup plate can be increased so as to be beneficial for the installation of the tensile bar. And then by adjusting working clearance between the gear wheel and the gear rack to a quite small clearance even no clearance, the ideal parallel states between the tensile bar and a feed roller and a wind-up roller of the printer can be realized, thus providing technical support for the improvement of the print quality of the printer.
