Abstract

Sub-lance carriage fall arrest mechanism relates to an oxygen supply equipment on a top-blown oxygen converter. In order to prevent the sub-lance carriage from falling, the invention provides a sub-lance carriage fall arrest mechanism. The sub-lance carriage fall arrest mechanism comprises cable wires which drive a carriage to move up and down on tracks, is characterized in that the sub-lance carriage fall arrest mechanism also comprises a rotary arm, a connecting bar and a locking pawl, wherein the middle part of the rotary arm is hinged on a carriage frame; one end of the rotary arm is hinged with the end of the cable wire, while the other end of the rotary arm is hinged with the end of the connecting bar; the lower part of the rotary arm, connected with the connecting bar, is provided with a spring which can be compressed by rotated the rotary arm; one end of locking pawl is hinged with the carriage frame, while the other end is hinged with the other end of the connecting bar; the end face of the locking pawl connected with the connecting bar can get into contact with the track through the structure. The sub-lance carriage fall arrest mechanism effectively restrains carriage from falling down when cable wires broken and greatly improves the liability of sub-lance work and carriage work, so the sub-lance carriage fall arrest mechanism is propitious to spread and exploitation.
