Disclosed is a charging method of the number-carrying service in the IP multimedia sub system network; if the initiating network and / or the terminating network of the IP multimedia sub system service judges that the called party of the service occurs the number- carrying, a number-carrying identifier is added to the charging request sent to the charging data functional entity; the charging data functional entity receives the charging request and acquires the charging request of the number-carrying service and the carrying network which the current called party belongs to according to the contained number-carrying identifier and has the corresponding charging processing towards the carrying network. The charging method is adopted to record the route information of the called number which has the number-carrying for the accurate charging; meanwhile, the corresponding Event ACR is generated when the NPDB query is processed in the apanage network to facilitate the payment between the apanage network of the called number and the current carrying network.
