Problems solved by technology

When such a conflict occurs, if other RSs compete successfully, the current RS to be accessed has to restart the initial ranging process, thus delaying the time for RS to enter the network
If an area urgently needs the RS to provide services, the communication service will be delayed due to the RS path selection

Embodiment 1

[0068] In the first embodiment, when the RS accesses the network, the access point RS1 is first selected to access the network according to the result of scanning the neighbor Preamble, and the following is combined Figure 4 The procedure for the RS to select a path is given when the MR-BS needs to select a path for the RS. In the first embodiment, it is assumed that the new access point selected by the MR-BS for the RS adopts a distributed resource scheduling manner.

[0069] Step 401: After the MR-BS receives the RS neighbor measurement report (RS_NBR-MEAS-REP) fed back by the RS, it selects a new access point for the RS according to the network status (such as congestion and load conditions) and the scanning results fed back by the RS RS2.

[0070] Step 402: The MR-BS obtains a dedicated ranging code and a dedicated ranging time slot for the RS to access RS2.

[0071] Since RS2 adopts a distributed resource scheduling method, RS2 needs to allocate a dedicated ranging cod...

Embodiment 2

[0098] The difference between the second embodiment and the first embodiment is that it is assumed that the new access point selected by the MR-BS for the RS adopts a centralized resource scheduling method, so that the MR-BS obtains a dedicated ranging code and a dedicated ranging code for the RS to access RS2. The method of time slot interval is different from that in the first embodiment. Combine below Figure 5 The procedure for the RS to select a path is given when the MR-BS needs to select a path for the RS.

[0099] Step 501: After the MR-BS receives the RS neighbor measurement report (RS_NBR-MEAS-REP) fed back by the RS, it selects a new access point for the RS according to the network status (such as congestion and load conditions) and the scanning results fed back by the RS RS2.

[0100] Step 502: The MR-BS obtains a dedicated ranging code and a dedicated ranging time slot for the RS to access RS2.

[0101] Since RS2 adopts a centralized resource scheduling method,...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for accessing network. When an network element supporting the routing is accessed into the network through an access point, the method comprises the following steps: a MR-BS chooses a new access point for the network element; the MR-BS obtains needed special ranging information when the network element is accessed into the new access point; the MR-BS provides the information of the selected new access point and the obtained special ranging information for the network element to enable the network element to carry out the original ranging process accessing the network through the new access point by utilizing the special ranging information, wherein the special ranging information can comprise a special ranging code and a special ranging time slot. The invention also discloses a MR-BS. The method disclosed in the invention can reduce time lapse caused by the confliction between the network element and other network elements during the routing choosing process when the network element is accessed into the network.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to network technology, in particular to a method for accessing a network and a multi-hop relay base station. Background technique [0002] In order to meet the basic requirements of high data rate, high real-time and low bit error rate in the future wireless communication system, some new technologies are introduced into the wireless communication system, and wireless relay technology is one of them. [0003] IEEE802.16j adds relay technology on the basis of IEEE802.16e. Relay station (RS) access to the network can improve user throughput and expand network coverage. [0004] Taking RS as an example below, combined with figure 1 The process of RS accessing the network is given. [0005] Step 101: RS scans the preambles of neighbors, selects a suitable access point to access, and saves the scanning result. [0006] Step 102: The RS performs downlink synchronization with the selected access point. [0007] Step 103: the RS acqui...
