Abstract

The manufacturing method comprises the following steps: (1) extracting three-dimensional intersecting lines on a cavity of a model of the shell mold to be manufactured, and preparing a first graphite block for the upper part of a molded cavity and a second graphite block for the lower part of the molded cavity by using a plane where the intersecting lines are positioned as a division surface; (2) taking the first graphite block and then manufacturing the first graphite block into a first graphite electrode by adopting a conventional manufacturing method; and (3) taking the second graphite block, then dividing the second graphite block into at least three local blocks comprising a first local block, a second local block and a third local block, wherein all gear racks on each local block have no negative angles in a certain direction; and respectively processing each local block, and then assembling the processed local blocks integrally to form a second graphite electrode.
