Abstract

The invention provides a capacitance type touch screen writing pen which belongs to the computer peripheral input field. The pen includes a pen head made by flexible conducting material and a penholder made by hard conducting material whole or partly. When writing, touch area of the pen head and the capacitance touch screen increases gradually, the capacitance touch screen determines coordinates information of the pen according with touching area size for capturing charge change caused by the pen, and further determines position of the pen. When the pen is moved, stroke is formed. After the pen is took up, touch area of the pen head and the penholder decreases gradually even to zero, the capacitance touch screen loses coordinates information of the pen because of no-capturing charge change caused by the pen. The pen is located again for forming new stroke, the process is repeated for completing word input. The pen provided by the invention solves problem that the pen is used for inputting word on the capacitance touch screen smoothly, has simple structure and is convenient for operation.
