According to the technical scheme of the invention, the periphery of a steel frame is provided vertical columns; the steel frame is provided with cross beams; the vertical columns are connected with the cross beams; theuppermost cross beam is provided with a solar cell panel; the cross beams are also provided with movable vehicle-carrying boards; the vehicle-carrying boards are provided with lifting mechanisms whichcomprise winding drums and driving mechanisms for driving the lifting mechanisms; the driving mechanisms comprise storage cell for providing electric energy by the solar cell panel; and one side under the steel frame is provided with a propelling drive mechanism and the other side is provided with a propelling follow-up mechanism. The equipment can be used for solving the problem of difficult parking as families or residential quarters and the like can not build large-scale parking garages. The solar driven double-layer self-propelled parking equipment occupies half parts of the roads of theresidential quarters, and the other half parts of the roads are taken as temporary driveways. The parking equipment also can be put on small open spaces at the front and back of dwelling houses; therefore, an upper layer parking space is added based on the original ground parking space.
