example
[0049] Figure 4 yes figure 1 Example of a sequence of waveforms generated by the sequence waveform generator shown
[0050] Before generating the sequence wave, the sampling clock and the number of data points of each waveform segment must be set first, and only one waveform segment of one sequence segment is stored in the waveform memory 2 . For example, a sequence includes generating 4 times of sine wave, 3 times of exponential increasing wave and 2 times of Lorentz wave, and the waveform lengths are 100, 200 and 300 respectively. 100, 200, and 300 are stored in addresses 0, 1, and 2 of the waveform length memory 1021 respectively; 3, 2, and 1 are stored in addresses 0, 1, and 2 of the repetition times memory 1022; in the number memory. The waveform data in the waveform memory 2 describe a sine wave with a waveform length of 100, an exponential wave with a waveform length of 200, and a Lorentz wave with a waveform length of 300. A total of 600 waveform data points are s...

Abstract
The invention discloses a sequence waveform generator. A sequence wave which needs to be generated is divided into l sequence segments of different waveforms, each sequence segment comprises m0, ml,..., mk,..., and ml-1 waveform segments corresponding to the sequence segment, and waveform data of the waveform segments of the different waveforms corresponding to each sequence segment is stored in a waveform memory; a sequence control module sequentially generates an addressing address of the waveform data of the waveform segment corresponding to a first sequence segment in the waveform memory, and then the waveform data is sequentially output to a digital-to-analogue converter through addressing to perform digital-to-analogue conversion and low-pass filter; the addressing, the output and the low-pass filtering are repeated for m 0-1 time to generate the waveform of the first sequence segment in a sequence waveform; and the waveforms of other sequence segments are generated in the same way to generate the required sequence waveform. The sequence waveform generator repeatedly reads out the waveform data of the waveform segments under the condition that the capacity of the waveform memory is fixed so as to expand the storage capacity equivalently. In addition, the sequence waveform generator also can realize sequence combinations of the waveforms in any length and any mode and generate the required test sequence conveniently without increasing hardware scale.
Description
technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of waveform generation, in particular to a sequence waveform generator. Background technique [0002] In the development of scientific research and production, waveform generators are playing an increasingly important role. Among them, direct digital synthesis, or DDS, is a waveform generation method widely used in modern electronic measurement. [0003] The basic structure of the DDS waveform generator is mainly composed of an address generator, a waveform memory, a digital-to-analog converter and a low-pass filter. Waveform generators based on DDS technology are divided into direct digital wave synthesis (DirectDigital Wave Synthesis, referred to as DDWS) and direct digital frequency synthesis (Direct Digital Frequency Synthesis, referred to as DDFS) two structures. DDFS uses snapshots to output waveform data, and is widely used in arbitrary function generators (AFGs). Its sampling clock and number of wa...
