Abstract

The invention discloses a gesture recognition-based PC intelligent input system, which is designed aiming at the shortages of conventional PC input equipment in the application field of PCs using large-size displays. The system consists of a host and a handheld terminal, wherein the handheld terminal recognizes hand actions of a user by using an acceleration sensor, and transmits a recognition result to the host in a wireless way after preprocessing the recognition result; and the host receives recognition information, performs further processing, converts the recognition information into a control command, transmits the control command to a computer through a USB interface, and finishes the operation on a PC. The handheld terminal has the characteristics of low power consumption and small volume; the host supports plug and play; and the overall system has the characteristics of easy use and low cost. The user can control the PC conveniently in a mode which is more in accordance with a body language by simple actions of swinging a hand upwards, downwards, leftwards and downwards.

Description

technical field

[0001] In the field of PC applications using large-size displays, the PC intelligent input system based on gesture recognition can be used as a standard peripheral of the computer to realize PC control. Background technique

[0002] For a long time after the birth of the PC, people used the keyboard as their primary input method. For professionals who use PCs, the keyboard is undoubtedly a convenient and fast input device, which can accurately transmit the information that the user needs to express to the PC. But on the other hand, the large number of buttons has brought great barriers to use for those non-professional users. In 1964, the world's first mouse was born at Stanford University in California, the inventor was Dr. Douglas Englebart. Dr. Englebart's original intention of designing the mouse is to make the operation of the computer easier, so as to replace the tedious instructions of the keyboard. The invention of this technology has brought great...
