Abstract

The method is implemented based on an application downloading system comprising an intelligent card, a mobile terminal, an over-the-air (OTA) server and an offcard entity management platform, wherein the offcard entity management platform establishes connection with the intelligent card through the OTA server and the mobile terminal; after an application downloading request from the intelligent card is received, a safety domain which is responsible for application downloading is selected from the intelligent card, and a safety passage is established between the safety domain and the intelligent card; and application is downloaded to the intelligent card based on the safety passage. Due to the adoption of the application downloading system and the application downloading method, the application can be conveniently and safely downloaded to the intelligent card at a high speed in real time through a mobile communication network; and user experience is improved.
