The invention discloses a color sequence display and a display method thereof. The color sequence display displays a frame in a frame period. The frame comprises a plurality of sub frames, and the frame period comprises a plurality of sub frame periods corresponding to the plurality of sub frames. The display method comprises the following steps of: starting a first color light source to display the first sub frame according to a first working cycle in the first sub frame period; then, starting a second color light source to display the second sub frame according to a second working cycle in the second sub frame period; and finally, starting the first color light source corresponding to a first correcting working cycle and a second color light source corresponding to a second correcting working cycle in a complementary color sub frame period to display a complementary color sub frame respectively.
