[0051] In this example, different pepper grafting methods were used for comparative experimental study. The experiment set up five control groups: oblique cut flat clamp method, oblique cut valve core, oblique cut needle connection, split connection strapping method, and split flat clamp method. The method adopts the grafting method used in Example 1. The experimental results are shown in Table 1. The survival rate of the split flat clamp method is 98.1%, followed by the oblique cut valve core method with 93.67%, and the oblique cut flat clamp method is 93.67%. 61.8% and 60.42% by splitting and strapping, and the worst survival rate of oblique stitching was 17.53%. The valve core method has a high survival rate, simple operation and convenient material selection. It is expected to be applied in large-scale production of pepper grafting.
