The test set up five control groups: oblique cutting flat clip method, oblique cutting valve core, oblique cutting needle joint, split splicing binding method, and split splicing flat clamping method. The method adopts the grafting method used in Example 1, and the experimental result data are as shown in table 1. The survival rate of the split joint flat clip method is the highest of 98.1%, followed by the oblique cut valve core method is 93.67%, and the oblique cut flat clip method is 61.8% and 60.42% for the split-joint binding method, and the worst survival rate was 17.53% for the oblique-cut needle-joint method. The valve-core grafting method has high survival rate, simple operation and convenient material selection, and is expected to be applied in the large-scale production of pepper grafting.
