Abstract

The invention provides a server of a power supply fan controlled by multiple mainboards for the purpose of solving the problem that two mainboards struggle to control the speed of the power supply fan. The server comprises a first mainboard, a second mainboard and a power supply backing plate, wherein the power supply backing plate is provided with a first power supply connector, a second power supply connector and a selection circuit; the first power supply connector is used for connecting the first mainboard; the second power supply connector is used for connecting the second mainboard; thefirst mainbaord provides a first selection signal when in start-up; the second mainboard provides a second selection signal when in start-up; and the selection circuit receives the first and second selection signals and selectively transmits a first power supply control signal or a second power supply control signal to the power supply backing plate so that the rotate speed of the power supply fan is controlled by the first mainbaord or the second mainboard, thereby avoiding the competition of the two mainboards.
