The method comprises an automatic instrument calibration process which comprises the following steps of: (1) initializing a signal source and a power meter; (2) zeroing and calibrating the power meter; (3) accessing the signal source and the power meter by a user; (4) switching an interface box; (5) circularly reading power according to certain frequency, calculating loss and store the loss into a file; and (6) judging whether a path is finished or not, if the path is finished, finishing the test, and if the path is not finished, returning to the step (2). The testing method also comprises a test plan customization process which comprises the following steps of: (1) newly establishing a test plan; (2) selecting the conventional test items into the test plan; (3) modifying parameter values of the test items; and (4) judging whether the test plan is finished or not, if the test plan is finished, storing the test plan, and if the test plan is not finished, returning to the step (1).
