Abstract

Provided is an absorbent article wherein the contact area of an absorber with the skin is wide and the central part of an absorption layer can always obtain a stabilized deformation state while preventing occurrence of kink. An absorbent article comprises a liquid permeable sheet, a liquid impermeable sheet, and an absorber sandwiched between the liquid permeable sheet and the liquid impermeable sheet, wherein the absorber consists of a central part of an absorption layer and an absorbing part formed with a lower mass per unit area as compared with the central part on the periphery of the central part of an absorption layer, a squeeze trench is provided on the side of the absorbent article touching the skin at least symmetrically with respect to the center line in the longitudinal direction to surround the central part of an absorption layer, a pair of left and right intermittent portions are formed in the squeeze trench across the center line in the longitudinal direction, and a substantially convex space portion is provided on the side of the absorber touching the skin formed between the absorber and the liquid impermeable sheet, in the side of at least a part of the squeeze trench provided along the side edges on the left and right sides in the width direction.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to absorbent articles. In particular, it relates to absorbent articles such as sanitary napkins and incontinence pads in which compressed grooves are provided at predetermined positions of the absorber and spaces are provided on the sides of the compressed grooves. Background technique [0002] As an absorbent article for the purpose of preventing bodily fluid leakage, there is known an absorbent article in which a three-dimensional protruding portion is formed on the skin contact surface, and the periphery of the protruding portion is continuously surrounded by a concave portion (Japan Patent Kaiping No. 11-33054 Bulletin). [0003] However, in this absorbent article, the protruding portion is continuously surrounded by a concave groove formed by compressing the surface sheet and the adsorption layer, so the density of the groove portion is higher than that of the surrounding area, and the rigidity becomes higher. Theref...
