The mechanism comprises a motor, a speed reducing mechanism, a gear selecting and shifting shaft, a rotation or translation converting mechanism, a locking switching mechanism and a fixed base, wherein the motor is in rotary driving connection with the speed reducing mechanism; the speed reducing mechanism is in rotary driving connection with the rotation or translation converting mechanism and the locking switching mechanism respectively; and the gear selecting and shifting shaft has two degrees of freedom of translation and rotation and can be used for executing gear selecting operation and gear shifting operation respectively, the gear selecting and shifting shaft is in translation driving connection with the rotation or translation converting mechanism and in rotary driving connection with the locking switching mechanism, and the fixed base is connected with the lockingswitching mechanism.
