Embodiment Construction

[0021] Hereinafter, exemplary embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. In the following description and drawings, like reference numerals denote like components, and thus repeated descriptions thereof will be omitted. Also, detailed descriptions of known functions and constructions will be omitted so as not to obscure the purpose of the present invention with unnecessary detail.

[0022] Figure 1A and Figure 1B is a reference diagram for explaining the conditions under which MOP is generated due to the overlap of direct path signals and multipath signals in electronic intelligence receivers.

[0023] refer to Figure 1A , periodically receives direct path signal pulses and generates a predetermined shadow time from the end instant of each pulse. In this case, as Figure 1A As shown, MOP occurs when a multipath signal is received before the end of the direct path signal pulse. Such as Figure 1B As shown...

Abstract

Provided is a signal discriminating method of an electronic intelligence (ELINT) receiver. The method includes: detecting a start time and an end time of modulation on pulse (MOP) due to a direct path signal and a multi path signal from a received signal; and extracting at least one of signal strength, frequency, and phase by using in-phase component and quadrature component of the signal in a time from a start time of the signal to a start time of the MOP. As a result, the present invention can prevent faulty discrimination or no discrimination of a signal due to a multi path signal and an unintended MOP to extract signal parameters.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to electronic warfare, and more particularly, to a signal discrimination method of an electronic intelligence receiver capable of preventing signal misidentification or non-discrimination due to multipath signals and unexpected MOPs. Background technique [0002] Electronic Warfare (EW) means general military operations to search for electronic waves used by the enemy or to counteract the use of electronic waves used by the enemy to reduce the effectiveness of enemy military operations and to protect the use of electronic waves by the Union Army from being exploited Enemy obstruction. There are many types of weapons that use electronic waves, from ground communication equipment to various radars or missiles. Furthermore, the working frequency band of the weapon is very wide. In addition, in a broad sense, electronic warfare generally includes weapons that use electronic wave signals as well as infrared or laser signals. ...
