The software design scheme of the remote concentrated meter reading system requires a corresponding hardware platform, wherein the hardware comprises a server, a concentrator, an acquirer and electricity meters; the server reads electric energy information from the concentrator or transmits an instruction to the concentrator through general packet radio service (GPRS); and the concentrator reads the electric energy information from the acquirer or transmits the instruction to the acquirer. The remote concentrated meter reading system is characterized in that: the software comprises an automatic meter reading module, a data automatic storage module, a prepayment calculation module, a basic parameter setting module, a remote switch-on / off module and a broadcast check module; the remote switch-on / off module is used for performing remote switch-on / off control on defaulting users; the broadcast check module is used for maintaining time standards of all the electricity meters in a system consistent with that of a personal computer (PC); and after the time is corrected, clocks in the electricity meters do not need the intervention of the PC any more. Compared with the traditional manual meter reading and telephone line meter reading methods, the remote concentrated meter reading system acquires data quickly and accurately, generates electricity statistic analysis quickly, greatly improves efficiency and facilitates management.
