Abstract

The invention relates to a drawer assembly, comprising a drawer and a slide guide rail system which can slidably open and close the drawer in furniture. Support brackets (20) are installed at every side of the drawer for supporting the drawer. The slide guide rail system comprises a fixed rail (40) positioned in each support bracket (20). Each side of the drawer assembly comprises a first component (80 or 90) and a second component (90 or 80); when the drawer is completely closed, the first component (80 or 90) is located at the back corner of the drawer assembly between the support bracket and the fixed rail, and the second component (90 or 80) is located at the front corner of the drawer assembly between the support bracket and the fixed rail. As the support bracket and the fixed rail are jointed at two diagonals by means of the first component on one side of the drawer and the second component on the other side of the drawer, the drawer can prevent deflection caused by guiding.
