Abstract
The invention discloses a logical object data duplication method and a related device, which are used for reducing storage resources consumed when performing logical unit number duplication. The method comprises the following steps of: acquiring a difference bitmap, wherein the difference bitmap is used for storing corresponding state information that whether each data block in a source logical object is duplicated to a target logical object; monitoring whether a write request for modifying the data block in the source logical object is received; and if the monitoring result is that the write request is not received, determining the data block, not duplicated to the target logical object, in the source logical object according to the difference bitmap, duplicating the data block to the target logical object, and updating the state information of the data block in the difference bitmap.
