Abstract

A grid-connected energy storage system capable of increasing the efficiency of a converter and a method of controlling the system are disclosed. The grid-connected energy storage system can increase the efficiency of a converter by measuring generated power of a plurality of power generation modules and selectively operating the converter based on the measurements.
