Abstract
The embodiment of the invention provides a customer signal transmitting method in an optical transport network and related equipment. The embodiment of the method comprises the steps of obtaining a plurality of customer signals, and mapping the customer signals to a branch unit which is preset at a payload region of an optical channel payload unit (OPUK); respectively identifying the branch unit which correspond to each customer signal; identifying the types of the customer signals mapped in the branch unit; and transmitting an OPUK-containing optical channel data unit (ODUk) to an optical transport network (OTN). The embodiment of the invention can be used for building a transporting channel which is adapted to the speed of each customer signal, so that the use ratio of the transporting channel in the process of the transparent transporting of the comprehensive beacon radar (CBR) is improved, and the flexible adaptability of OTN equipment to an access service is enhanced.
