The remote control method comprises the following steps: the remote controller asks for the current setup information of the mainframe from the mainframe through the transceiving part, and displays the information at the display part so as to ensure synchronization of the remote controller and the mainframe; and a setup command is input through the keyboard part of the remote controller, and then the mainframe changes functions after receiving the setup command.
