Abstract

The invention relates to an automobile performance testing instrument, in particular to a multifunctional testing rack and a testing method of an automobile chassis system, and particularly a method for testing the performance of an antilock brake system (ABS) and performance of acceleration slip regulation (ASR) of an automobile. A third roller for measuring an automobile wheel speed is arrangedbetween driving rollers and driven rollers; a velocity sensor is arranged on the third roller; an elastic frame is arranged on the rack; the third roller is installed on the elastic frame which provides an upward elastic force; the outer ends of two driving rollers are connected with a flying wheel set through a magnetic powder clutch respectively; and a plurality of flying wheels, which can selectively connect and disconnect, are arranged in the flying wheel set. By the invention, automobile ABS and ASR testing functions are added in the automobile tester, so the automobile ABS and ASR testing cost is lowered; and the popularity and integration of the automobile tester are strengthened.
