Abstract

An apparatus for communication supporting a first spread spectrum channel and a second spread spectrum channel, each of the first channel and the second channel being based on a different pseudorandom sequence. The device is also used to select one of the first channel and the second channel for communication, so as to avoid information collisions that would otherwise occur based on the pseudo-random sequences of the first channel and the second channel.
