The irrigation system can be automatically controlled based on double factors, i.e. the soil moisture content which is monitored in real time and the prepaid water charges, and accurate irrigation control based on the prepaid water charges and the soil moisture content suitable for the root systems of crops can be realized. The system can greatly improve the technical level of irrigation management and promote the development of energy-saving agriculture.
